Requirements for Home Inspectors in Wisconsin

PHIIâs home inspector training will provide you the knowledge needed to become a successful home inspector in Wisconsin. The course will prepare you for membership into a national home inspection organizations and to successfully complete the NHIE.
To become licensed, home inspectors in Wisconsin must:
1.) Submit Application and Fee
2.) Successfully complete the state examination on Statutes and Administrative rules (2014-10-14 - Current Fee $75)
3.) Successfully complete the National Home Inspector Examination (NHIE)
Continuing Education:
Licensed Home Inspectors are required to complete 40 hours of continuing education for every 2-year renewal period (20 hrs per year)
PHII has numerous options for inspectors who need continuing education hours. The inspectors will receive CE credit for any PHII course that relates to the general subject of home inspection.
