Requirements for Home Inspectors in Virginia

Professional Home Inspection Institute is approved to provide the required 70 hours of education needed for pre-licensing in VA. 35 hours are obtained by completing the Basic Home Inspection Course online. The additional 35 hours must be obtained by attending the classroom session in Madison, SD or in VA. After students have completed the 70 hours of training, they are eligible and well prepared to take the National Home Inspector Exam and obtain their home inspector license from the DPOR in VA.
PHII's instructor in VA decided he did not want to do training so we are working on getting a new classroom location setup for VA.
Cost here in SD, if in conjunction with free lab day, $995
If four scheduled days, $1195
Hotel at super 8 is $45 plus tax if they mention Robb Graham, PHII instructor.
