South Dakota Continuing Education Requirements:
Home inspectors need to have 24 hours of continuing education every license cycle. A license cycle always ends at the end of a year and is usually two years, except for a licensee's first license cycle. When a new license is issued, it is due to renew at the end of the following calendar year and then every 2 years after.
We do have a free one day lab for students. But students have to finish both basic and advanced courses before attending the lab.
