Requirements for Home Inspectors in Arkansas

Home Inspection is a licensed profession in Arkansas.
PHII is approved to provide the required education. Our online course is approved for Arkansas training. In addition to the online course, students must attend a 2-day lab in-person at our location in Madison, SD.
To become licensed, home inspectors must:
1.) Complete 90 hours of approved
online education
2.) Attend the 16 hour live field lab here in SD, which is currently $795 extra
3.) Successfully Pass Competency Examinations: NHIE and ASHIâs Standards and Ethics exam
4.) Proof of Insurance (at least $100,000.00)
5.) Register with the Arkansas Home Inspector Registration Board
